the first day

i don't quite understand.. does the problem lie in me or do i have a problem with relating with my parents? or is it simply a problem with age gap? the thing is we r going for a holiday in thailand (a part of thailand that is so rural and expensive ). mum claims that the destination "is what we all want" when she was the one who was sooo excited about this god forgotten place.. thats fine i thought so long as we get to go to Bangkok for a day or two, u know to shop and eat and stuff..
i heard from my tuition teacher about this japanese buffet restaurant that servers fantastic cooked-on-the-spot food for only 20 singBucks...i thought of getting some thai massage there too... and going to the famous sunday market you know to see the sites and sounds..
we have not gone for a holiday the whole year as a family and now that we are... mum only wants to do shopping and get close to nature.. lame or what??!
its like so unfair!! mum and dad get to fly all over the place throughout the year and both for fun and business... now that she is going with us (bro and I) she wants to take things way slow and BORING!!!!!
i run the idea through mum and what does she say? Oh we can go there of a day and shop at the SHOPPING CENTERS and eat at the shopping centers... its like what is the point of going there when u r not even going to eat local food?
Enough of that stuff.. perhaps i could suggest that dad dishes out the money for me and brother to spend at the more happening places while mum and gran can go shopping at shopping centres and so really lame stuff..
Perhaps i would find a cute guy andhe could he our personal tour guide.. Hmmm
Possible solution.. Hmmm.. wonder if it will work..
